Central Coast man injured in ladder fall

A 67-year-old man has been airlifted to hospital after he fell from a ladder on the NSW Central Coast.

The incident happened in North Avoca Tuesday afternoon.

CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter was called to the scene just after 4pm.

The man suffered suspected spinal injuries as a result of the incident.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance crews before being taken to the helicopter and critical care team.

CareFlight’s specialist doctors and critical care paramedic provided further assessment.

The man was flown to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
