A farm worker has been killed following a tractor rollover in central Queensland.
Emergency services were called to a farm in Cordalba just after 10.30am on Thursday.
Reports indicated the man, aged in his 50s, was driving his tractor and spraying sugarcane when the incident took place.
Workplace Health and Safety has been notified of the incident.
Tractor-related incidents are the leading cause of fatal injuries on Australian farms.
There have been several tractor-related fatalities this year.
In September, a 12-year-old boy was killed by a tractor while working on a farm in Leitchville, in northern Victoria.
In August, a man died in a tractor incident in far north Queensland.
A 56-year-old man died after being pinned by a tractor on a rural property south-east of Giles Corner, in South Australia’s Mid North in June.
