Farm hand killed while felling trees in Buxton

WorkSafe Victoria is investigating the death of a 59-year-old farm hand, who was found dead on a property in Buxton.

The worker was found unresponsive near a tree that had been pushed over by a tractor on Wednesday morning.

He was airlifted to the Alfred Hospital with head injuries but died soon after.

The fatality brings the number of workplace deaths in Victoria this year to 14.
