The Northern Territory Government is conducting a best practice review into workplace health and safety in the NT.
The Attorney-General and Minister for Justice Natasha Fyles has commissioned Mr. Tim Lyons as an independent reviewer to evaluate the policies, procedures, and activities of NT WorkSafe in administering the Work Health and Safety (National Uniform Legislation) Act.
A reference group composed of industry, union and government nominees will assist Mr. Lyons with the review.
In view of this, a discussion paper has been released seeking public feedback and input into the review.
Submissions for the review close on Friday 31 August 2018.
To download the discussion paper, visit the Department of the Attorney-General and Justice website.
