WorkCover WA will hold a seminar at the end of this month to provide an introduction to the workers’ compensation scheme in Western Australia.
The seminar will be held on Tuesday 27 February 2018 at WorkCover WA from 9.30am – 11.30am.
The Welcome to WorkCover WA Seminar is hosted by WorkCover WA based on stakeholder demand and all interested parties are welcome to attend.
Topics include how the scheme operates, legislation and premium rates, claims process and statistics and accreditation and monitoring.
Attendees will also discuss key obligations of employers, dispute resolution, and injury management and return to work.
This seminar is ideal for anyone who is new to workers’ compensation or injury management, as well as existing employees working in insurance, broking, self-insurance, workers’ compensation law, rehabilitation, injury management and return to work.
