A tree lopper was airlifted to hospital after he suffered serious injuries following an incident involving a tree near Maryborough Thursday morning.
The Bundaberg and Sunshine Coast RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopters both attended the scene due to the patient’s condition.
The man suffered serious head injuries and was treated at the scene by Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics and the LifeFlight critical care doctor and paramedic.
He was flown in a serious condition to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s hospital.
