Man dies after tree felling incident in northern Tasmania

A man has died in hospital after he was crushed by a tree in northern Tasmania.

The 28-year-old man was felling trees in Nunamara Saturday afternoon when the incident happened.

The man suffered spinal and lung injuries a result of the incident.

He was flown to Royal Hobart Hospital in a critical condition, but died on Monday.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
