Small business owners and managers in Wide Bay are being invited to attend a free two-hour workshop to help improve their work health and safety systems.
The free workshop will be at 85 Dr Mays Road, Bundaberg, on 21 May 2019, from 9:30am to 11:30am.
Workplace Health and Safety Queensland says these workshops are suitable for small business owners, managers and supervisors or anyone with health and safety responsibilities in a small workplace wanting to improve their current health and safety processes.
Participants will learn about work health and safety, rehabilitation and return to work processes and management systems for small businesses.
Other topics include injury and incident prevention, increased productivity and quality, reduced business disruption, improved worker morale and being better prepared for injured workers’ return to work.
As part of the training, registered participants will also receive a free personalised site visit from an experienced Injury Prevention and Management advisor, according to WHSQ.
