Worker injured after crane topples in Taree

A worker has fractured his leg after a crane toppled at a construction site in northern New South Wales on Thursday morning.

Paramedics were called to the construction site in Taree after the man, aged in his 40s, fell about 4 metres from the crane after it tipped over shortly before 8am.

He was transported to hospital with a broken leg.

SafeWork NSW has been notified of the incident.
